On a serious note this looks like a really fun game and I'm currently watching PBats LP of it.. But people say it's too like Minecraft.. Come on, do people knock EVERY survival game for being like Minecraft?

I don't even wanna know what you put in place of the word "creeper" :s. All it seems to be is a 2D version of Minecraft, it would be better for people with slower computers :3 They don't have to load chunks.
Can you at least watch the video and see that it's not like Minecraft.. Why do people critisise EVERY single survival game for being 'like Minecraft' ;-;

Are you seriously saying this game is ripping off Minecraft? And laser gun? Where?
This game is an adventure RPG with survival elements, that element being you have HP, you make your own weapons, you build your own protection.
The RPG and adventure elements are what makes this game, and I'm addicted to PaperBat and Slyfoxes LP's of it. And yeah, they've stopped playing Minecraft to play Terraria, because it's a change, because it's not like Minecraft.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm pondering whether to make a Terraria fanboy thread or just watch more Terraria.

Augh, I mean, I could understand being mad about games like fortresscraft copying minecraft.. but, really guys? Terraria actually seems decent. It's not like there aren't a bunch of games that have you building things, going into caves, looking for ores and fighting things...
Even Notch tweeted that Terraria was awesome.. And that started everyone trolling it ;-;

Nope. I'd probably get the game if it weren't for the fact that I just got a new game (Portal 2) and my dad probably won't be willing to buy me another one for a while...
Shucks.. I wont be able to get the game until a legitimate pirate comes up.. And if I could I would buy the game, but my mum is stubborn about me getting a credit card..
