I don't really have a prized possession. My technology can be replaced, and I don't care about much else. I do have one thing with some sentimental value, but I wouldn't lose much sleep if I lost that either

My CD collection, amounting to around 500 records collected in the span of half a decade. There's a certain transcendence in collecting music through the means of legitimacy rather than cheating; you manage, in that way, to enter a culture of collecting, sharing, and obtaining music. When I go out to find new music, it's always an adventure in itself - I've met a lot of great people and visited humble, well-reknown stores around the world.
The music I listen to and experience, too, are extremely significant for me. I can always link back to my past with the help of past songs and past musical understanding, and in that way shape my past and my character through music. I've listened to a lot of different styles, and I know that I will never reach an end to my endeavours. That's also why I know I must move on in life and never consider giving up in life - because I know that I will definitely get in touch with some great music I will love when I get older. ^^

Either that, or my bike, which has brought me through journeys to the unfamiliar and help me shape actual experiences from the mundane environment I live in.
