(Yay, my first guide!)
In this detailed pictorial guide, I will teach you to the appropiate way to report someone who is using a speed/flying/item hack in Platform Racing 2. This does not apply to hacked/scammed accounts.
Has this ever happened to you?
If so, you have just been a witness to 'Hacking'.
Hacking is the use of a program to gain an unfair advantage in a game, such as being able to fly, use multiple items without a block, and/or have incredible speed.
People caught hacking on Platform Racing 2 typically get anywhere from one week to one month bans, as it is a very problematic situation to manipulate a game.
So you just saw a hacking take place. What can you do? First I will tell you what you shouldn't do:
The last thing we want is for you to get in trouble. Flaming or harassing someone who hacks is not okay, and the best thing to do would be to ignore them.
While running to a moderator may seem like a good idea, without any sort of evidence to back up your claim there isn't much we can do at the moment. Remaining calm and providing us with irrefutable proof is the way to submit an understandable report.
Now there we go! This is the correct action to take when you experience another player hacking. You remain calm, considerate, and follow these next few steps.
Downloading the Tool
So, you saw some hacking. Now it's time for the evidence. Too often I have received reports of people just saying someone was flying around the map, without anything to back up their claim. Well now you can!
First thing you need to do is find a Video Capturing Software. My preferred choice is CamStudio. It's free, and it doesn't have an annoying watermark on every video. Plus, it's easy to learn!

(If you're using a Mac, Awesum suggests http://download.cnet.com/Jing/3000-1...-10744267.html)
Now that you have CamStudio, play around with it. It's quick to understand, and will help you in this next step.
Taking a Video
Now it's time to re-race the Hacker. Using the CamStudio "Drag and Resize" camera ability, you can choose how big or how small you want to record. It would be best to capture the entire PR2 screen, like so:
It's a great idea to record the Username and Rank of the hacker somewhere in the video. This way, we can know for certain and don't accidentally ban someone with a similar name.
Example #1:
Make sure your video won't leave us in doubt, and that it contains everything from start to finish (though you don't necessarily have to finish the race, but capturing the hacker finishing is really helpful.)
After Recording
After you have finished recording, save and upload your video to a Video Hosting Website. Tinypic.com works fine, as well as Youtube.com.
Then all you have to do is send a Platform Racing 2 Moderator the video, and we will follow through with the report.
That's it! You have done your part to make Platform Racing 2 a better place, and all of us appreciate the help and effort you have put forth to make PR2 safe, fair, and fun!
UPDATE 2!
How to Report a Private Message
Just going to give a quick explanation of what the Reporting PM system is like, and the process behind it:
When to report?
If you ever find yourself being harassed, spammed, or have vulgar PMs being sent to you, then the report feature is something you'll find useful.
If someone is trying to scam you out of your account, or asking for your password - report. This is the main reason why the report feature was implemented by Jiggmin.
The Report Button:
The 'Report' button is the little yellow exclamation point next to the reply and delete buttons under your PM. Once pressed, it will display an 'Are you sure?' notice detailing reasons for reporting.
Here is a sample of what we receive when you report a PM:
Using the new '/view username' function in chats, we can search any user, and take appropriate action. Typically bans for PMs are longer than bans in chat.Dec 21st, 2012 11:21 PM

Can I have your password?
PMs such as asking to be folded for, mild swearing, or general annoyance can easily be solved by deleting the PM and ignoring the user. Only report things that need our attention.
With your help, we can help eliminate the scamming problem on PR2, and also stop the hate.
So thank you guys for helping make PR2 a better place! One step at a time.
