    ImageShack suffices better.

A Screen Shot takes a virtual picture of what ever is on your screen.
Its an easy way to show evidence of something or just to show do to do something. I use it almost everyday.

You can do it to report someone in pr2 also ;D.

So, how do you take that screen shot?

    For Windows:
There's this little button, on your keyboard, at the top of the coloum where the arrow keys are.
    Here's a picture of it:

It all depends on what keyboard you have. Now that you know what button to press. All you have to do is have the thing you want to take a screen shot of, ontop so it's in view. Then Press the button. Go into Paint. Paste it. Then Edit it, then save it.
To upload anything to these forums, you cant have it saved as a .bmp file.
It's gotta be a JPEG image.

    For Laptops:

Its basically the same procedure but different button layout. On laptops, often the print screen function shares a button with another function. If this is the case you will have to use the "function" button on your keyboard access the print screen function. Almost all laptops have a function button which is usually located in the bottom left of your keyboard. Often abbreviated "fn". To take a screen shot, simply press down the function button and the print screen button at the same time.

    For Mac's:

How to make a Print Screen (Mac OS X)

As the keyboard for a MAC OS X operating system is not similar to a Windows’ keyboard, the way you will make a screen capture will also be different.

    1. Press and hold the Apple key+ Shift+ 4.
    2. Once you release the keys, your mouse cursor should have changed to a + symbol
    3. If this is the case, press the space bar once to turn the + symbol to a camera icon.
    4. You can now use this camera to choose what you want to capture by mouse clicking once on the desired section of the screen.
    5. The picture file will automatically save on your desktop.
    6. You can now make all the desired changes in your graphic editing program (crop, change the size, colour, add text and graphics etc…)

    For Unix/Linux:
For Linux/Unix, choosing the “Print Screen” option will capture the whole screen, while pressing “Print Screen+Alt” will capture the section of the screen to which the mouse points to. If you press the “Print Screen” key, the “Save Screenshot” dialog will appear.

    1. From the Menubar, select “Applications” from the list, “Accessories” and the “Take Screenshot” option.
    2. The “Save Screenshot” dialog will then appear and you can now choose which section of the screen you want to capture.

So now that you know how to take a screen shot and successfully get it into the forums. Start showing some cool achievements or something!

Here's some great examples of some screen shot's I've taken:

Contact me if you have a different operating system and would like for me to explain for it.
Also, naruto mentioned/found this, there's a site that has a great tutorial for Windows Xp.
    Here it is: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...creenshot.mspx
