Ok I have no problem folding for others. If you don't like that then suck it up and ignore it. I fold for others because it's nice and some people cannot fold at all. So there really isn't a problem with people folding for other people.

I just got de-repped for this post, comment being "Rude". Well I would just like to state that it's far more rude coming in and openly ask to be GIVEN a prize. We have to get the point across to people, that we will NOT fold for them, but we will be happy to give them help.

People should all really fold for themselves. I say this because the more people folding the better.

For example:

If I fold for myself lets say I earn 2000points per day(ppd)
If I fold for you because you say it goes super slow for you we earn the same 2000ppd
If you fold for yourself super slowly and get 30ppd and I keep folding for myself then our combined ppd would be 2030.

So you see it is clearly better for the cause if everyone folds no matter how slow their machine goes. Assuming that you use the standard client, I think that anyone should be able to finish a work unit before the deadline. People have to remember that this is doing work for science and not just a game to get you stuff in PR2. Please chip in anyway that you can.

That generally hasn't been the case and is why I think so many people are getting annoyed. Most of the time someone is coming on and saying that they don't run folding because it is too slow. They then ask people to fold for them even though they aren't bothering to fold themselves.
