I am not racing a sectionals, since the limit is seven runners. I am a Sophomore, but this is my first year running xc. There's only 7 Freshmen on our team, and about 25 Sophs to Seniors for JV racing today.

I was totally confused, since I was all prepped up after doing strides and were starting in two minutes. Up until now where I am reading this, I kept on thinking that there are random people all over the course. During the race, someone from another town that I am not going to name started cursing off one of my teammates and then went trash-talking to me. I just sailed past him as my answer, even though I had a bad race overall. I lost 4 seconds (21'03")to my previous time at Thompson despite feeling like I ran a sub-20 until the hill. Likewsie, almost everyone on my team had a bad race from Freshmen to Varsity.
I will be at sectionals next week, and I hope to see you there.

I PR'd last Wednesday, going 20:54, but I sprained my ankle in fall classic (Thompson) going 20:59. I probably would have PR'd there as well if it weren't for my ankle. Took yesterday's race off, which our team got swept anyways. Our team is running Greater Middlesex Conference next Saturday at Thompson (last race for me, since I'm only in JV)

Yes, Holmdel. Our team originally had a race on Tuesday, but it ended up getting cancelled. Now we have run a quad meet, but we only count against two teams (I know it doesn't make any sense)

What race did you run in Shore Coaches? I ran Boys JV A race... didn't do too well, 299 of 390 (But our team wasn't all that good anyways)
