I mean, you sounded like your school reacts to insults more calm. for example, when you replied with "not as small as yours", you said they would back away, and tend too not talk like that around you.

maybe your school isn't as physical as mine. where as insults can become a consequence such as a bloody nose or a black bruise that can hurt intensly.
