Raqib Shaw is a Kashmiri artist, who now lives and works in the UK. He uses a porqupine quill to paint with enamel-based paint in an enormously detailed style, using small gemstones to exaggerate the beauty of his images.

The London Olympics will cost around £9bn, most of the rejuvination will not be immediately evident to people in the UK, because it's localised around the olympics venues in and around London. However the UK might benefit as a whole if we make a proffit from the games and implement useful infrastructure.
