[whether a polymer is hydrolysed in water depends on its chemical properties, that's why sheep's coats don't 'melt off' when it rains. It's actually rather difficult to design polymers which dissolve in water, such as the synthetic plastics used in hospitals for waste disposal.]
'Mathematically, the odds of amino acids naturally bonding together to form a fairly simple protein is one chance in 10^125.' Chemically*, the probability of amino acids naturally bonding together is 1, because the chemical environment we live in favours polymerisation. *I want to emphasise it's chemical properties which matter here, rather than adding up all the acids in a protein and raising them to the power of the variety of acids regardless of their properties.
You see, what you've done, is been a wee bit short sighted. I, and other people who actually know a thing or two, get their definitions from dictionaries, rather than inserting our own beliefs into defenitions. You've just produced a no true scot fallacy- which hinges around 'evolution must include and necessitate the belief life originated in a certain way' Just like the no true scot fallacy, scottish people may wear kilts, but wearing trousers doesn't suddenly mean they can't be scottish.
Oh, maybe I should get back on PR3 too; my skills are kind of declining.
Does it not even occur to you that if you describe a triceratops to someone [big horn on the nose, armoured flesh, quadrupedic, 2 tonnes], who has seen a rhino, that they will of course think you're talking about a rhino. What's the rational answer, that a widely documented animal species, the rhino, exists, or that you've magiced dinosaurs back into existance?
No, not really. I can still play PR3, but just not as well :/. How about you?
To clarify; evolution is not the belief that all life originated from a single cell. [that's actually a logical deduction] Evolution is, as I stated: The process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth I'm dissapointed in you: my message on the 24th of december concerned this and you haven't bothered to even google it, have you?
Pretty well, except for the fact that I broke my wrist :/
Blackieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Maybe in the future we'll actually discuss the possible existance of unspecific gods, rather than christian anti-science.
