Spamming and abusing the thanks system is not enough of a point to justify these threads not being locked.

There's no rule against abusing the thanks system.

Thanks can be used freely, even more so than posts.

In fact, there doesn't seem to be any rules concerning thanks at all.

(I find it funny how people justify their thank boasting and thank thread using with reasoning like that. It's usually just people who want to seem popular and get on the top thanked list, as if their thanks actually mean something. Thank threads have basically made thanks meaningless.)

thank system can go to hell, the point is that those threads are spam, and Jiggmin said himself that spam threads are lock-worthy

Well, it's easy to see who "farmed" thanks and who got it the harsh way.

I completely hate the thank sim threads. Mods oughtta delete 'em if you ask me, it ruins the system YET most people would rather get the thanks than together get a mod to delete it, while mods aren't doing a single thing about them.

I'd be satisfied if those threads can be deleted along with the thanks inside them. Thanks should show how helpful or nice someone averagely is, but those threads are ruining it.

And yeah, thanks system aside, they're plain spam.

I know they are never useful in Village Games. Unless the village game is strategy based.

I only care about thanks outside VG.
