Lightnin!!!

I feel like a noob.

Ok, so here is my predicament.

4th gym in Pokemon Black and White.

My team;

Dewott - Lv. 28 Revenge, Razor Shell, Water Pulse, Fury Cutter.
Zebstrika - Lv. 29 Flame Charge, Thunder Wave, Charge, Spark.
Petilil - Lv. 26 Giga Drain, Synthesis, Sleep Powder, Magical Leaf.
Tirtouga - Lv. 25 Aqua Jet, Ancient Power, Crunch, Dig.
and
Drilbur - Lv. 11 Cut, Strength, Rapid Spin, Mud Slap
(He's just an HM slave, but ironically the perfect Pokemon to take her down, shame I went for a statistic based team and not a type advantage team).

So you can see my predicament.
Stuck on the 4th gym because she type trumps me in every way.

My tactic so far has been trying to land Ancient Power on her Emolgas, and then making it to Zebstrika to use Dig, but her Pokemon are too fast, as well as super effective against Tirtouga because he's a primary water type.
So I end up being knocked out by her second Emolga.
ie. "Use Ancient Power"
"She sues Volt Switch"
"I go down to 1 hp thanks to Sturdy"
"I hit the other Emolga with Ancient Power instead"
"She sends out the first Emolga"
"I die because sturdy wont kick in twice in a battle".

And of course I can't resort to anything else, she has full type coverage over me, she can take out Dewott and Tirtouga with ease thanks to electric attacks, and she can take out Petilil with Flying and Fire attacks.

I could remove the HMs from Drilbur and then train him, but raising him from 11 to 30 is going to be some ridiculous feat, and still I have the problem with not being able to hit the Emolgas because as far as I'm aware Drilbur doesn't learn Rock moves until really late..

I'm at the end of my tether.
Has anyone got any good strategy for her that doesn't involve me training Drilbur 30 levels, or training some other random Pokemon several levels.

Edit: Zebstrika isn't any use either, it comes down to who can Flame Charge the most, and it's HER Zebstrika.. Because she has endless Hyper Potions and a computer AI calculating the damage I'd do...

The best thing to do is train your dillbur, or catch another pokemon that's should be useful.

Thing is, every pokemon trainer has that period where they need to tran a level 10 to a level 25+

I'm not ready to pour 5 hours into training a Pokemon up 30 levels to advance the story and then make it an HM slave again.
And to be honest, the Pokemon around these parts aren't tough enough to provide that much exp..

Is there no Pokemon around that is a Ground/Rock that can be found before the 4th gym and at a relatively high level?

    @That last edited part.
No.. No they don't.. There is ALWAYS an easy way out in Pokemon.
No one in their right mind would train a level 11 Pokemon to level 41 just to learn a Rock move to complete a gym where the Pokemon are level 24.

Maybe any TMs that could help? Not much you can do with 3 pokemon having a type disadvantage...

Only Tirtouga can learn dig, and I'd taught him it long before this for some type coverage, not knowing this was an electric gym, and Dewott can learn it too, but Dewott's current moves cover types really well outside this gym, and I'm not going to give any of the moves up to teach a type-advantage move to a type-disadvantaged Pokemon.

(And Dig is the only useful TM I have for this, no other ground or rock TMs).

My new tactic Tirtouga - Quick Claw and Zebstrika - Scope Lens isn't working..

No, because he is completely ineffectual.

And.. FUUUUUU as soon as I start getting the benefits of the quick claw, the Emolgas use quick attack to override it.

That sounds like me back in the Kanto/Johto days, I'd get to like the 5th gym and just have a level 100 starter that I'd trained for days.

As I recall, I had a level 100 Feraligator by the time I reached the Burned Tower on one of my Gold/Silver/Crystal runs.

You do realise I only got this game 2 days ago.
And I've not played a Pokemon game in well over a year, seeing as to how I just got Black and White.

I played Pokemon a lot when I was a child.

    **** yeah~!

I got lucky with Cr1tikal hits and I beat her.

Edit: Did I seriously just type Cr1tikal instead of Critical?
... That's how you know you spend too much time on that channel.

I wasnt there a water type you can catch that evolves into i think it was paliptoad or something like that it's and its a water/ground type so it's immune to electric attacks so that would help

    Doesn't matter anymore, I've won.

And Tympole would be completely useless, despite being invulnerable, it wouldn't be able to do much damage, plus Oshawott's final evolution is a water/ground so I'm not going to the trouble of raising another water/ground.
