My computer got blocked

Apparently my computer got blocked for 'breaking the law'... I'm not sure if it's not a scam, especially ince some words seem to be gramatically wrong. It says that I hzve to pay $166 by some weird internet way to unblock it... Idk what to do.

    Well I was downloading a game today. Then a random antivirus installed and turned off everything. I couldn't even open firefox or anything... Then after it stopped, that message popped up. Everything is blocked right when you turn the comp on.

    What antivirus? Tell the name please.
    There's a ton of scareware in the web....

    I think its a virus...
    my friend said something about a smiliar virus as this.
    Im not sure how to fix it but you might just reset the whole system if you can.
    You can also try to get to the setup when the pc is starting.
    You have to click F11 or something.
    You can choose what program needs to start first then just do the C disk or something so you can try to delete the virus or reset your PC

    The "random antivirus that installed" is a virus.

    There exists programs like these which encrypt your data. And if you pay them you get a decryptor to get your files back.

    Some just hope that you buy their fake antivirus in order to remove fake viruses. So don't even think of paying them.

    And it obviously blocked Firefox because they didn't want you to find out that it's a fake program.

    The name was 'live (something) platinum' i think, not sure if it matters though.
    Anyway, on screen it say something like 'your computer is blocked due to breaking the law, pay a $166 fine via uKash in 3 days and write the code you got there or else we'll confiscate your computer'.
