Does it show a black screen, then go to home?
It does that on some of my apps. For example, some racing game. I had to delete the app because it must've been incompatible or something.
Same with Draw Something, but I re-installed it, and it worked after.

Im planning to back up my apps and stuff make a reset and restore everything. Ok I just click safari and brings me back to home. Also cydia isnt working too, is it because of it?

^but you can't uninstall the Safari and mail apps.

Try turning off your ipad all the way and restart it.

Isn't cydia for jailbreaking.....?

My screen goes black and reverts to home after being on Safari for amounts of time.

It started when my iPod overheated this one time.

Yes i jailbroked my ipad 3 days ago. Also ny restarted you mean reset it and start again I could do that and back up my stuff than restore it might work.

Maybe whoever jailbroke did something stupid...

You know how on an iPhone or iPod touch there's the button at the top that if you hold down it says "Slide to power off"? Well, I was thinking you could try that on the iPad.
