I've started to play Pokémon again as well, and I'm going to play through Ruby.

So I just beat Roxanne about 10 minutes ago with a Combusken using only Double Kick. Cool.

Team so far:
Combusken: Level 17

    Yeah, that happened to my friend once. It was because I turned off his game when I was saving and it said "DO NOT TURN THE POWER OFF..."

    whaaaaat? the battery only affects time, my Ruby's battery died but it still saves fine.

    I think there are two batteries. One for the save and one for the clock. You can get both replaced though.
