Europe's largest live event on televison. The best singer/artists come together and sing in a competition. Russia has a bunch of old women, one of them as old as 86.

True, the whole competition is a big pile of shit, and it's more about the show then the songs, but it's interesting to watch. I feel that the song Norway sent was wrong.

Would be better. It was a candidate, and although it is more ''slow moving'' it has SOUL, something most other songs don't have.

Indeed; Spain decided to send in something horrible so that they wouldn't have the burden of hosting next year's Eurovision. I'd love to have lived in Liechtenstein, who have never partaken in such dull matter.

The competition could have been slightly interesting if the contestants actually had substance and had a genuine musical personality; but then the show would be too unpompous and it would be less of a sell-out, which is bad business. So as it stands, it's nothing more than trivial bubble-gum pop backed entirely by nationalism and propoganda disguised under "LOL UR OUR FREND XD" remarks during the end of the show.
