My Sister Was Trying to Find Out my Passwords on my Accounts

Rate this Entry
I awoke looking at my sister trying out random passwords and trying to log in to my account. I just looked at her, because I wanted to find out if she some how new my password. Then she saw me, and ran out of my room. I changed my passwords on my accounts after that. Does your siblings ever do this to you? Or is it just me? And have you ever done this to one of your siblings?

I don't have any siblings... but just use strong passwords and you'll be good to go.
    Some tips:
    • Never use any full spelled-out words. Passwords like "ilovemycat" can't stand for three seconds.
    • Never use any numbers or words that are related to you, and that people close to you would know. For example, using your phone number is a bad idea.
    • Try to make it look as random as possible, even for people who know you. Again, a relative's name or date of birth isn't a good pass. Try adding random symbols or something.
    • If you can really remember random-looking things, use a completely random password. It doesn't need to be long -- for completely random passwords, 6 characters is more than enough. Example of a completely-random password: z!BcDX (I did generate that randomly). If it has more special characters (non-letters, non-numbers), then better.

I made my password some 30-40 digits long, and I remember the whole thing. Doubt she would be able to guess that.
