Hack? :x I never knew you could hack the wii.

I wasnt doubting if it was going to work, I was wondering if there were any risks, I heard that it crashes you Wii and then starts installing, that freaks me out.

I don't think we can help you much here. Although I do believe it's possible to 'uninstall', you should seek people that know more about this.
But well, as long as you don't use it online, I believe it would be fine to hack it, just for funsies.
As for risks, usually yes there are some risks... Possible freezes/crashes. You should look for someone/some place with more info on this.

Its possible for your wii to stop working/crash when you update the system,if you hack :/

You will never be able to update your wii with nintendo. If you do, they will detect the software... Let's just say, they hate hacked Wii's

I would never hack my Wii.
But I couldn't care less what you do to yours.

Yea I realize if I try to update my Wii it will break it, not worried about that..
