Starry Skies and Fallen Angels

She was born happy.
Wings held high on her back full of pride.
She was an angel
Perfect and pleasing,
Kind and forgiving...

However, fate did not seem to love her.
day after day,
She suffered from pain...

She began to rise back to her place in heaven,
but a war soon approached the poor separated couple.

He said:
"I'm sorry my dear...I must leave you for now...
I do not know when I will return to you...

She turned to him and told him:
"You are my hero,
You are my demon...
I will always love you...
because you are part of my soul
and no one could ever replace you."

They kissed, and he left,
To the war he must fight.
