What you need to do is subtract the integer from both sides, in this case 13.

So sutract 13 from 13 and from 25 to get 0 and 12.

Then you need to get the n separate from the 3 so you divide it by 3 to get n, and watever you do to 1 side you do to the other that's when you divide 12 by three to get n=4

You can also subsititute your answer for n to check if your answer is right.

3n + 13 = 25
3(4) + 13 = 25
12+13 = 25
