You should probably talk to someone who has a decent experience of relationships, because they will have pragmatic and legitimate advice. You're reminding me that I myself erroneously want a partner, when it's really not in my best interests.

I can't go to pubs for another year, and clubs are awful. Unless you mean similar interest clubs, which are difficult to find.

I'm hardly the ladies' man, so I'm not a good source of information for this. I imagine googling 'speed dating' and the name of your town or city may be a start.
Do you go out to pubs 'n clubs , that sort of thing, much either? To my knowledge that's often where people meet.

I can offer some sympathy, because I've been single for a long time [and don't have an income actually].

Have you tried speed dating and the like? I suppose also consider that if you do find what you really want, a relationship, that you may not actually end up enjoying it or knowing why you wanted it in the first place, or at least that's my retrospective experience. I don't invest so much of my self worth in aspiration to relationships now as a result.
