Eh, that's not really how it works. As of now, the most recent hero of the week makes the congratulatory message on Saturday, and if they don't, a staff member announces it.
You could just do some creepy pasta stuff and change the author of the post to you, and then make my congrats thread seem like it was the first by me.
But you already made one last week, and it would be unfair to let you have another one in the thread, sorry.

Yeah, BBcode can be used. The one other thing though, is that it would be a temporary announcement. Maybe for 2-4 weeks or something.
Yeah, sure. I know there are a few change author options on other forum boards, but if this is the only option, then I guess it's OK, as long as you keep accepting updates as they come from me or ax6. Are you allowed to use BBCode in announcements?
No, the best I could do is copy your post and make it in to an announcement. There is no way for you to post it, or for it to look like you posted it. Would this be okay with you?
