Allrighty, this is kind of sort of the new site. If you're still getting the default vBulletin skin, you can change that with the dropdown on the very bottom left of the page. I haven't installed any of the fancy stuff yet, and there are still some funky bits here and there. Not sure if I like the original smilies or the new smilies better, so I'll just put that decision off until later.

So, this forum is running on VB3. VB4 has been out for a while, and it looks like it's finally reaching a point where it may be usable. There are a few problems with upgrading, though! One of them is that VB4 has no Conquest add on. That game is pretty fun, and it would be sad to loose it.

If only someone who makes games for a living could program a replacement!

I took conquest down yesterday to make some changes. I just now turned the new version on, so hopefully everything will work as it should.

There was a piece of code in Conquest that was supposed to count up all of your armor and weapons in order to determine your total attack power. The code that was in there worked, but it worked by adding the individual power of the weapons one by one. This is like adding 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 a million times instead of using multiplication. They're still a bit wonky, though. Methinks I'll have to redo the rollover and rollout activation in javascript to prevent the movies from getting stuck playing forever.
